Legal
Regulatory status
Sisul is pre-launch and pre-license. We want to be specific about what that means.
What we are today
Sisul is a software platform under active development. We are not currently a Registered Investment Adviser (RIA) with the SEC or any state regulator. We are not currently soliciting capital, accepting capital, executing trades on behalf of any user, or charging fees of any kind.
What we are doing: building the verification infrastructure, the marketplace UI, and the operational tooling that will be needed when we are licensed. Onboarding traders and accredited investors to a waitlist. Demonstrating the technology with clearly-marked synthetic data (the demo trader).
What is gating live trading
Two things have to be in place before any real capital moves through Sisul:
- RIA registration. Either through direct SEC/state registration of the Sisul entity, or through an umbrella arrangement with an existing RIA partner. We are actively pursuing both paths.
- Series 65 licensure of at least one Investment Adviser Representative within the firm. This is the principal regulatory bottleneck for individual founders and the primary near-term focus.
Until both are in place, every part of the platform that involves actual money movement is disabled, and the legal structure here is the limiting factor, not the engineering.
What this is not
- This is not an offer to sell securities or a solicitation of any investment.
- The performance shown on demo profiles is synthetic and clearly marked.
- No statement on this site should be construed as personalized investment advice.
- Past performance, even fully verified past performance, does not guarantee future results. Investments involve substantial risk of loss including possible loss of principal.
Questions or concerns
If you are a regulator, an existing RIA, or a prospective user with a question about our structure, we want to talk. Reach out via the contact form and we'll respond personally.
